Developing a new model for ecological capability evaluation of irrigated lands in Firouzabad Township, Iran

Agricultural planning is a very complex task, since there are numerous goals, which should be achieved simultaneously, and various components elements, must considered at the same time. The process of agricultural suitability evaluation for crop production requires specialized geo-environmental information expertise computer scientist to analyze interpret information. main objective this paper test new model (based on Iranian ecological FAO models) capability with geometric mean better management irrigated lands. Next, proposed method was verified compared other well-known methods such as Boolean logic, arithmetic mean, WLC. To models, we used normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI). results indicated that revised by (overall accuracy %=95 Kappa coefficient =0.91) best among methods, %=46 =0) had lowest accuracy.
